I get burnt by Lighting Universe
This past weekend my wife and I visited the Kirkland, WA showroom of Lighting Universe. Although we didn’t end up buying anything to support our minor home remodel, we came close. So I gave my name and address to the woman behind the counter. Then she asked for my email address. I hestiated and asked why did she want it. “Oh, just to keep you informed as to the status of your order.” In response, I asked if it would be used for any other purpose, to which she replied “no”. Since I like to know the status of my order without having to retrieve it all the time, I gave her my email address.
Of course, what did I get today? A spam from Lighting Universe. At this point, knowing what I know about this topic, my reaction is one of anger and frustration. As I told my wife, they have lost me as a customer for a very long time, perhaps forever. No matter how sincere the saleswoman was, Lighting Universe lied to me. Now I don’t trust that brand enough to shop there. Since I have many other choices for buying light fixtures, I doubt it’s worth my time and energy to let them know.
You know what I mean?

Lighting universe is horrible. i would never purchase from them again. I purchased some items on sale and they were to small and they would not return or exchange. Bad business!!!! Especially when they advertise on their site NO HASSLE RETURNS ….LOL
